Three and a half day enduro race in Slovenia – Trans Julius 2017 from June 22nd to 25th. From Cerkno to Vogel. Registration just opened today so you can go and grab one of just 100 places of the first edition.
Thursday June 22nd – Cekno. Prologue stage also called “Follow the night” with Cerkno downtown party. A 3km climb and a 3km descent.
Friday June 23rd – Most na Soči. “Blind race” with 3km of climbing and 3km of descending.
Saturday June 24th – Soriška planina. “Catch the flow” with 13 km of climbing and 9 km of descending.
Sunday June 25th – Vogel. “Rock the lake” with 11 km of climbing and 9 km of descending.
On Saturday and Sunday the Bohinj Outdoor Festival takes place in Kamp Danica, Bohinjska Bistrica, with pumptrack, enduro race for kids, stand up paddling and more.
To warm up for racing there will be and “official training day” in Kranjska Gora on May 20th.
The registration fee of €150 (until April 22nd) includes racing in all four stages, timing chip use, a Trans Julius jersey, meals after each stage, drinks and snacks at feed zones, lift and train transfers and a “goodie sack” of gifts from event partners.
