New logo, website and new elan in Slovenia XC Cup.
SloXcup comes alive with new website. Last fall when Cycling Federation of Slovenia’s Mountain Bike Commission decided to do something about the National Series, they also chose coordinators for the disciplines of cross-country and downhill. Mitja Tancik became the XC coordinator and when his appointment was confirmed in January he went straight to work.
His first goal was to meet the event organizers and put together the calendar for the upcoming season. You can find it here.
Then he went on to design new logo, number plates, ceremonies backdrop and course banners with his team. They also attracted some new series sponsors: Cube bikes is the mains sponsor, others will include Cycling Science, BODIFIT and Energija bikes.
A separate series website is the next step. It is similar to the SloEnduro site which is not a coincidence, they were both designed by Jan Perše. The website will be providing news, event information, results, rankings as well as photo galleries and videos. English version is planned but not available yet.
SloXcup starts in Vrtojba with XC Griči on March 28th.
