6 pages of riding between Maribor and Soča river valley in Britain’s best selling mountain bike mag.

May’s issue of Britain’s popular Mountain Biking UK (MBUK) magazine brings the report of three fellows who were in Slovenia last autumn. Writer James McKnight, photographer Andy Lloyd and another photographer Ben Winder who served more as model and social media guy this time, spent a week in our country and this six page report is the result.

They visited Krvavec, Ajdovščina, dolina Soče, Tržič, Rogla, Kočevje and Maribor accompanied by local guides and riders.

“A whistle-stop tour of this small but perfectly formed slice of Central Europe uncovers some remarkable riding,” James wrote as introduction to the story.

MBUK is Britain’s best selling mountain bike magazine. It is almost 30 years old and has a worldwide circulation of over 30.000 copies.
