We had this wacky event in Kranjska Gora for third year that mountain bikers like to call “singlespeed”. It’s even worse, it’s a hillclimb race (well, for some it’s a race) on 20-inch folding bikes, luckily on asphalt and pave, not singletrack.
There’s the winner, masters XC racer Primož “Jimmy” Jurak, there are champion downhillers Miran Vauh and Monika Hrastnik, there’s dirt jumper Primož Tanko, even the Cannondale road pro Kristijan Koren… and 917 more! Dressed up in 70’s and 80’s clothing.
