Second round of SloEnduro in 2017 season this Sunday, sixth edition of Three Chimneys above Trieste, from new venue in Basovizza/Bazovica and mostly on new special stages.
After season start in Grožnjan, this weekend the SloEnduro series moves to the venue which has until now hosted every opening round, all four of them.
For the sixth edition of Enduro 3 Camini the organizers from ASD 360 MTB from Trieste picked a new venue in Zarja sports center just outside of Basovizza/Bazovica above Trieste, less than a kilometer away from Slovenian border.
New course
Even though the riders will again be heading towards the Glinščica Valley, the special stages will mostly be new. Three of them will be on Slovenian side and two on Italian side. The riders will be able to train on all five on Saturday and will only be allowed to get to the top on their own, without help of shuttles or any other help.
The stages will be announced on Friday so nobody will have an advantage.
Again the most attractive stage will be chosen as Kenda SuperStage. Two of the stages will be chosen for the race of Under 17 and Under 15 categories.

There will be no prologue on Saturday this time, just practice from 8am to 4pm. On Sunday the number one plate sets off at 9am and should return around 3.30pm. The award presentation follows at 5.30.
As usually in Italy, a large field
There are 183 riders registered. Besides Austrian, Italian and Slovenian there are the Hungarian, Czech, Slovak… Among them all the fastest from Grožnjan and some more. Like more locals, Italians, and the Slovenian champion Tadej Razpet (Pedal Racing Team) who missed Grožnjan for health problems.
