10th season of European downhill series starting in Slovenia again. On wet roots, it seems.
For third year in a row Kranjska Gora, the ski resort in North-Western Slovenia, will host a round of iXS European Downhill Cup. For second year it is also the opening race of the season.
Over 350 riders from 26 countries are expected to turn up for the race, including some notable World Cup names. They will again race on the 2 km track with an elevation drop of 300 m. Find list of registered riders here.
The event will be organized by the experienced Bike Park Kranjska Gora crew. They will hold another race a week later, a UCI Class 2 race, second round of Unior Downhill Cup.

Weather forecast shows we are very likely to have a wet weekend which will make the track with famous root sections and even some clay very difficult.
