The 2017 Slovenia DH Cup has a title sponsor and five races, all with UCI points. What a 25th season ahead of us!
In its 25th season the Slovenian National downhill series is making a step forward. Unior tools stepped in as title sponsor and the series will be named Unior Downhill Cup. It will include five races and for the first time in the history they will all be included in the UCI calendar.
In April the series start on the Island of Lošinj in Croatia with a UCI Class 1 race held by MTB Trbovlje. Four races in Slovenia will follow from May to September, all UCI Class 2 events. Kranjska Gora race organized by Berghi MTB, Cerkno by ŠD Pedal (also Slovenian National Championships), Soriška planina by MTB Železniki and Maribor by DGK Pohorje as final race.
Monster Energy remains on board in the series as well as mtb.si as media partner. The series is coordinated by Miha Jakopič.
