Last Sunday 49 riders took on the wet special stages of this year’s Enduro Krokar at Dobrna, Slovenia, a round of the 4Fun series. By the end of the day they were mostly wet from below since the rain stopped right after the start.

Last Sunday 49 riders took on the wet special stages of this year’s Enduro Krokar at Dobrna, Slovenia, a round of the SloEnduro 4Fun series. By the end of the day they were mostly wet from below since the rain stopped right after the start.

After four special stages with total elevation gain and drop of some 900m, Slovenian Nejc Huth was the fastest one with the combined time of 12 minutes, 9 seconds and 32 hundreds. Austrians Max Fejer and Tino Huber, both of Team Dorrong, took second and third. Each of them also won in their respective age category: Huth in 25-29, Fejr in 18-24 and Huber in 30-34. As well as the fourth place Cri Maierhofer, another Dorrong rider, who was fastest in 45-49 class.

Yana Dobnig (Team Dorrong) was the fastest female rider in 17th overal, so well inside the fastest half of the field. Slovenian French lady Aurelie Roussel (MTB klub Kranj) was second and Italian Eli Cos (ASD Team Grazon) third.

Riders under 17 years of age had the option of choosing a shortened course. Slovenian Rene Ciuha Mrak was the fastest among these in fron of Austrian brothers Paul and Jakob Lenz.

And the kind gesture by the event organizers Krokar cycling club: they donated 1164 € for charity for cycling friends Duško Supić and Gregor Habe! Who knows how much they wopuld get in nice weather?
