Best event of 2016 SloEnduro series on the calendar of Enduro World Series qualifiers races.
The Enduro World Series (EWS) has published the calendar of events which will allow the fastest riders a way to secure entry to their chosen EWS races
2017 will be the fifth EWS season and the second one with Qualifier Events. For the first time Slovenia will host one of these events and the honour goes to Enduro Cerkno. This race has been chosen by the participants as the best in SloEnduro series for second year in a row. 2017 Enduro Cerkno will be held on May 28th.
There will be no less than 40 qualifier events in 2017 but in what we like to call the Central Europe (between Germany, Czech Republic and Italy) there will be only seven. For Austrians and riders from a big part of Northern Italy Enduro Cerkno will be the closest race to score some points.
Three best events of each riders will be included in the EMBA (Enduro Mountain Bike Association) ranking. Registration for qualifier events opens on February 15th.
Andrej Kovačič, president of Pedal team and big chief in Enduro Cerkno organization: “This is a big recognition for our efforts and also an obligation for next year’s event. We have to do our work at one hundred percent and also try to get our local park on the map. It will be interesting.”
